Reflecting on 2024: Milestones Achieved and Exciting Progress for 2025

2024 has been a (nother) big year for Pure Blue Ocean.  We have now been working with clients for 10 years, and we continue to evolve and develop, and thrive.

Key Highlights of 2024
  1. The Tenth Celebration: We were delighted to share our milestone with clients (many of whom came into the UK for the event) , colleagues and friends of the business, at a beautiful setting alongside the River Thames in sunny Marlow UK, to share an afternoon of competition (and it did get quite competitive) food and stories.  The evening ride along the Thames as the sun went down and the cocktails flowed, was a heartening highlight.
  1. The Global Network: With our partnerships and people on the ground in North America, Australia and Spain, the depth and scope of our ability is still growing.  During the year our delivery spanned time zones from California to Auckland, I believe we can confirm we are a truly global business.  Not only did we work across geographies, but industries too – from Safari experiences in Tanzania, to selling candy bars in Ukraine, and Ready to Drink cocktails in Sydney to name a small selection.
  1. Launch of the Podcast: We finally brought the Your Blue Ocean podcast to party.  In this series we explore what the Blue Ocean looks like for our guests, and how they arrived at this conclusion.  The podcast format is semi-structured interview style – we are more interested in the perspective of the guest than using the podcast as a platform for our own views.  We really want to know how your Blue Ocean looks, smells, tastes and feels like – the career journey that took you there, and the life lessons you gained along the way.  I must thank our 5 initial guests for their time and openness in pulling this series together.  More to come of this in 2025

What’s new in 2025

So now with a chance to look ahead, there is so much already to start planning and supporting in 2025.  With a wide range of client programmes and projects already confirmed across our consulting and training platforms from Customer Experience, Revenue Growth Management, working with Distributors, Organisation Structure and Competencies, to Corporate Governance and exit options, there is a lot we can offer.  We can also confirm partnerships with GSCOP specialist delivery, and a focused international Negotiation specialist consultancy, to go alongside Data & Analytics, eLearning and Leadership programs already accessible throughout our international partnership network.

The area though, that I am most excited for in 2025, is  the inclusion of our new Coaching offering to be launched in 2025.    During the year I have been completing my own journey in this regard, with a Master’s Degree in Executive Coaching from Ashridge Hult Executive Education – the culmination of 2.5 years of academic study, and several hundred hours of practice and supervision will see me graduate with an MSc and EMCC Accreditation at Senior Practitioner Level.

In 2025 we will be offering Executive Coaching and Mentoring programs to clients to support their personal and professional growth as Leaders, based on relational coaching practice. Slots will be limited, so if you are interested, please let us know.
